Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

No huge words, employees who are working can teach you a lot about how world works. I really appreciate them as in person also.

Dislikes

• Just not suitable for people looking for peaceful work environment. • They pay you like you have no such work experience or expertise. but give work load like they own you from generations. • you have to beg for every leave, even for half days. • rules and regulations are depend on mood, you never know when can side of table will change. • job security is always on edge of sword. • cant spare a minute after 40 min lunch • its just not office its a school where you learn, which path you don't have to walk.
