Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I am lucky to work with the team of this company. working as an online trainer has its own benefits. The management gives me the freedom to work on my terms with flexibility and no interference from the management. I always feel secure as the company treats me as their family member and getting clients from different cultures helps me grow and enhance my personal skills.

Dislikes

As for now, there is nothing which I dislike about the company. just one thing that I'm working from India and want an opportunity to move abroad and work as In- house trainer.
