Very Small team in India, colleagues are cooperative, the global team based out of Singapore & Switzerland is very supportive, competitive salary, performance incentives and fringe benefits are really good.

Not a MNC culture, micro management by country head, no value for managers, there is absolutely no succession planning, country manager exerting all powers including the minutest decisions is hampering the growth, innovation & Employee morale.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
