Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Here is where my journey started and proud to be part of their family for a longer period. Literally I grew up here spending half of my life working. A great environment for growing professionally and personally I learnt a lot. A great scope for upskilling yourselves and stay relevant in this competitive industry. The Directors really value the employee relationship more and ensure a healthy relationship is established amongst the team.
