New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Supportive Superiors and management. Specially MD sir and his Son. Good compensation on sites. On site stay arrangements are good. No politics and harrasment in work space. Lots of learning opportunities due to different types of projects.

Different types of work experience for self development.... employees genuinity between each other....

Dislikes

...icy is so bad ..... under the name of hr policy he can do anything with you.....no salary growth with experience level......hr department is not supportive.... every time he is only interested to cut the money under the name of hr policy....

There are very few employees they help you to grow.

Dislikes

Payment issue, petrol allowance pending for more than 2 months, very poor Management skilled HOD. Fresher should avoid this company to start the career.

Management Department of this company is worst and never do things which are discussed earlier. In some department sometimes the fresher's do the helper type of job like collecting the data from IT Dept AND ALSO GIVING FILES TO OTHER DEPT.
