Likes

Good work environment. Teammates are supportive. Theris a big cafeteria company provides food for free to all. Company policies are fair & they give good Hike.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics & managers are awful. Salary is decent but no career growth. During covid 19 Pandemic company has temporarily laid off. It's for past 6 months with out salary.

I was working with Dominion Diamond since 2 and 5 months back... Only Work palce and facility is good..

Dislikes

Its a very small organisation in India, hardly less than 100 to 150 employee's working there but still there is no job security in Dominion Diamond Company.Profite wise condition of the company is very bad Hence they are terminating any employee to save cost , No Job carrieer, Recently they close Whole IT infra Department wihtout giving notice period to anyone. I wish to everyone not to join this organisation in future...

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
