Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Absolute waste of time. Being unemployed is more fruitful than being a employee of dollar advisory. I have nothing to lose or gain through this review still I'm investing my time to write this in hope that people be aware of the situation. If still not convinced from this just go and talk to their employee before joining. Good luck.
