Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

The work pressure is high but compensation is low, seniors never report good job but always complain of mistakes to higher authority.

Dislikes

Work culture is very hectic, internal politics destroy growth and learning of their employees, there's no work life balance, they always call on weekends for more work, so much pressure given to complete targets

The company all staff are friendly. Work activities is good for future experience . The management level are increase for customer satisfaction.

Work culture is excellent. Nobody talks roughly. Expectations will naturally be there but there is no undue pressure. Bank is expanding very fast. So growth opportunities are there. No political pressure is witnessed. job attrition rate is one of the lowest in cooperative banking sector because of all positive factors.

Dislikes

Sometimes I feel that there is not enough decentralization in decision making process.
