DRDCell erstwhile DRDA and presently named as DMMU in all over India mainly work with NRLM Programme. The main aspect is women empowerment. Consisting Self Help Group by minimum 10 women from below povery level in rural area and to provide them various training and Cash Credit loans DMMU tries to uplift rural economy. Self Help Group's women have produced manifold numbers of masks, Sanitizers as per specified guideline by WHO and after taking proper training from GOVT professionals. And distributed in rural areas to MGNREGA workers , nationalized banks, Health Sector, Various private sectors and sold in local market in much much cheaper price. The women of Self Help Groups also have supplied cooked food ( Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks with tea and dinner) to the people who were staying in quarantine. ( For symptomatic and for migrant labourers).
