New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

...ny expects the employees to work till late nights. No promotions. No promotion. No sudden salary hikes. Only brand name, no work satisfaction, no motivation to work. Worst culture at work.

Management, their veiws on emploees, lot of politics in case of promotions. No life only work.

Company is Good to work. Salary and other perks are below the average. Company support is very very good they gave us full salaries during lockdown days. They care about employees safety and security.

The worst thing about company is that they hire on Third party pay rolls. Growth rate is worst. You can not dream about growth. Even you or your team is the best perfomer but they are not going to consider you for promotions. Only nepotism rules.

My Review is for DHL GSC Centre Vikhroli Mumbai, Not for DHL main office. DHL main office e.g. Supply chain is awesome company to work with as my friend loved to work there. Even I would love to go for Supply chain or DHL Main office but DHL GSC Centre is not so good.

... check on employees, make them frustrated and leave the job as soon as possible. They think they can higher new college pass outs at low salary and work will be done as fluidly and efficiently as old employees doing it.
