Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The company was open for expansion and thus was the main reason to join for exploring overs opportunity for the company. As a result we opened with overseas traveling and exhibition and fairs.

Company has long term vision and was the slow space. Long hours, unskilled labour intensive regular requirements were few very hindrances.
