Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

... Project is the one of the best Company in Nigeria for EXpats as well as Locals. Very Good work culture, very good facilities , very good salary package,Really enjoyed working with DEUX PROJECT. We get good self respect and acceptance from organizations.

This is a Construction that works with latest construction technology. Am proud to be part of the team as regular training are been carried out to adopt to these new technologies. This exposes us to different parts of the country with exposes us to different projects within specific period of time. Another point is my company employes any part of world and put them through the company culture and policies as we work happily in collaboration and as a team.

Dislikes

Growth is encouraging, but compensation of workers in terms any accident or death is disheartening. Most at times we work extra hours to have a results and satisfy our client but this doesn't count in the term of wages or compensation.
