Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

Working environment was nice and friendly.

Dislikes

There are many: Job location very far from home. Faculty room is not upgraded.. there is no provision for A.C. Infrastructure is not good. Faculties are climbing stairs to the 4th Floor. Less man power. No other employee's stays due to distance. And appraisal also was not good.
