Working at Designbox was a learning experience because it was my first internship, which later became full-time employment. I learned most of what I know about copywriting and content writing from this studio.

Dislikes

To begin with, the salary is not competitive. Since I was a beginner, I did not know the market value and settled with their first offer. I worked with them for over a year and there was no concept of appraisal, at least for me. I was the sole content writer in the entire studio. When I took a 5-day leave for the first time during my entire duration, my boss made a passive-aggressive remark about it. Eventually, when I handed in my notice, I was not paid my full salary and was given the excuse of them believing I didn't work hard enough for the company. Overall, if you wish to learn at an entry-level and money isn't a factor, I'd say it's a good place to start. However, you do have to let go of work-life balance, timely payments (they did forget to pay me once) and much more.

The work environment is chill and fun. Owners are very understanding and supportive. You get to learn a lot while working with everyone. Quality of work is superb as everyone enjoys working. They also have a good clientele.
