The only thing I liked there were the legal associates who worked there who were friendly and genuinely nice.

Dislikes

The Management does not take great care of its resources. They have no bonus payouts. The assessment system is arbitrary and bonus is paid out 9 months after the financial year is over. The legal partners are petty, they make fun of associates, play dirty politics with them and the growth prospects are zero. They are also pathetic paymasters in the market and increments are abysmally low despite legal associates working till 1 and 2 in the mornings.

I was humiliated for not knowing Gujrati Less work load gives rise to gossip culture Anyone works on any matter - discipline missing A rude lady partner of firm 'D' has ruined careers of many associates Briefing counsels delay the matter and charge unnecessarily Many old associates don't work at all - rip undue benefits like a government employee Some associates sit late in office for a work that can be completed before 6 pm

There is no work and personal life balance. Salaries are below industry average. There is no standard for increments. Everyone is competitive in the most negative sense. The management thinks that a high attrition rate is a good thing for the firm.
