...nd this was a big boon for me. Work life balance for me has improved since then. Also during pandemic, Deloitte managed the situation well by ensuring that there would be no job cuts or salary cuts. They also did not give any hikes but that is OK as compared many companies having slashed salary of their employees. Deloitte did give special hike once situation improved and followed by another annual hike, so got double salary hike in 2020. This was another good thing. Best thing here is CTC is fixed. Bonus is not even mentioned in your CTC. It is something you get over and above and is generally 10% of CTC, but they gave everyone more than 10% since performance was great during pandemic. This definitely won't happen in any of the IT service companies which solely focus on sucking employees blood. Your experience in Deloitte will differ project to project. Prior to pandemic, my work life balance was nil. Once the porject changed, I got into a relaxed project which does not have much pressure and has European clients who are easy going. So work life balance improved drastically. Best thing here is the annual shutdown. So, you get complete off from around 24th December till new year. I have not seen this in any of the IT Service companies. Overall great experience so far.

There is politics all around, definitely there wherever you go though. So upto you to manage through it.

...You will get to work on good project and always a great opportunity to learn. 2. Salary and appraisals are good.

Dislikes

1. No work life balance as most of the projects have tight deadlines and people end up working 12 to 14 hours a day. 2. Micromanagement in some of the projects.

Salary was good and perks for employees are good.

Dislikes

Worst work management, all they need is work to be done irrespective of knowledge you had, if your are a java developer, they'll ask you write code in php and get it done ASAP. They say they'll follow agile methodology but in reality they follow spreadsheets and no billable hours given until you asked 100 times, in the mean time you'll get senior leader mails for not maintaining proper timesheets. Worst managers and worst projects. From my side don't go in the project called CALHeerS or FPACt

Salary, skill development, social recognition, party etc all are top class

Dislikes

Its a women leadership company. Favouritism and office politics are toxic. Too much wokism. Feedbacks are not direct. Coach and managers speaks with High sounding words, essentially means nothing. Unless you are aligned to their politics you are out

I think the flexibility that Deloitte offers is amazing and as an employee, I am free to work from wherever I want to, and there is no micro management. The team is very professional and there is not much hierarchy.

Dislikes

The salary paid by Deloitte is not commensurate to the work. Appraisal, especially at Deloitte, India are not up to the mark and overall I believe you are underpaid significantly at Deloitte.
