Everything that was good about Dell ended 2 years back. Nothing is good now.

Dislikes

...es more miserable and feel tortured from 5 days a week policy and no promotions. And from what I have heard extremely low or negligible salary hikes. The culture is extremely bad for a long term perspective and would take a toll on your mental health. The work that they make you do is dated and not industry relevant. So don't join dell unless you want to spoil your mental health and career.

- Amazing work culture and people are always ready to help you. - The average employee retention rate is quite high and people stay/retire from the company. - Dell promotes and provide lots of IJP opportunities and you can literally jump from one org to another within Dell with right skills and mentorships. - Dell gives opportunities to upskill and provides learning curve to implement new skills at work.

...rintout needs to be purchased, and even the ID card retractor is chargeable). - However, you get salary on time and you have job security as far as you are performing well.

Where to start , it's just a Sales Marketing place , no one cares about technical resolutions and customer satisfaction , everyone from an agent to Manager to DM is dying for selling and scamming customers ....it's pathetic , offensive and you feel like sitting in a fish market , if you have an ounce of dignity , you will feel offended just to keep doing it .

The culture and work life balance at Dell is excellent. There are learning opportunities depending on the job role.

Due to constant layoffs the job security isn't there. Also, compensation should be improved.

I don't see a single point as of now. This used to be best work life balance org, but not anymore.

The Work-Life Balance is becoming very poor day by day with expectations to work late hours and weekends without compensation, is particularly challenging. Compensation and benefits are below industry standards. The immediate management tends to be retaliative and blame-shifting, which creates a challenging and equally toxic atmosphere., The work culture is dying here, is toxic, pressuring employees to overwork. Too many long, unproductive meetings further reduce overall productivity. There are limited opportunities for career growth and advancement. Too much micro management at work by immediate leaders. Too much work over commit to higher management of immediate leader leading to employee dissatisfaction.
