I liked the culture of the company when I joined - they had very good order booking including few 765 kV GIS sub-stn (on turnkey basis). I was given the charge to execute one 765 kV GIS sub-stn, which EMC was doing for the first time. The job allowed me to work in close co-ordination with Chinese team and PowerGrid Officials at Vadodara & we completed the job ahead of schedule.

Dislikes

The culture did not remain same. Sharp declining of overall culture observed in last two years which includes salary delay, politics etc.

Likes

There is nothing to like at all, immediate leaders don't possess software development knowledge and are too much into politics. Too much micromanagement.

Dislikes

No recognition, no compensation hike, no appreciation, too much work pressure, leaders are worst, and too much tracking and micro-managements. Not worth joining the company. All day works and standups including weekends. There is too much pressure at work and there are always very strict and tight deadlines. Zero work-life balance. Downwards learning curve. Managers will force you to work on weekends as well.

Best work culture Good work life balance. Senior Management is good and supportive Various opportunities to work on different tech stacks or framework. So able to get good opportunities to learn. Good opportunities in Dell EMC data storage domain. Dell has strong vision and planning in data storage domain

Dislikes

Compensation is low compared to other product based and competitive companies. No stocks in CTC in general or fresher joinee. Sometime depending on projects technologies used might be legacy/old.

Yes I like working at dell. You get good salary Good variables Work life balance. Points for hardwork and timely feedback of work. Remote work + hybrid working

Dislikes

No free food. No internet reimbursement for remote employee. Taxes on gifts card provided No Sodexo Too much trainings Too much work irrelevant to your role Like I do testing for development work of others. No health insurance for your parents.

You will get trainings on any skills that you are interested in, company culture is generally good, decent work life balance

Dislikes

Salary, hikes are average compared to the industry standards and promotions are rare
