- Politics and excessive hierarchy - Little to no guidance or mentorship - Employee-averse policies

Likes

Deepalaya was working on child development, women empowerment, education, and health etc. I got a chance to learn administrative work, proposal writing, report and government work. In term of job security, so we can understand that employees are working in this organization from more than 20 years.

Dislikes

They don't have facility to shift people one project to an other.

Likes

The amount of coaching, mentoring and growth opportunities I recieved in Deepalaya is incomparable. I owe my career to Deepalaya!

Dislikes

(1) Being a small NGO, Deepalaya suffers from budget constraints. This can be improved but I know they can't match their international competitors (2) Sometimes, it come across as a faith based organisation, but I guess it's more an individual approach and not an institutional approach.
