Barring the editorial bosses, nothing in Deccan Chronicle is worth working for. Aditya Sinha, Sriram and Moses Kondetty were a delight to work with.

But the disgruntled owners led by the Reddys and the management that includes the likes of PR appointed by the Court Mamata, the HR head Sai, the accounts head Krishnayya are not worth their salt. They intentionally delay the salaries of their employees for years. They fired people, who were asking for their salaries. They lie. They don't credit salaries on time. Not a place to work for.

Its a good organisation, I get a good display for my stories. Employees are also supportive and co-coordinating.

Dislikes

There can be better competition with other newspapers. We do not have facilities like cafe, work from home, team games, get-together etc.

management gave me good support in discharging my duties. Sri Ravi Reddy garu stood like a back bone during my carrier

Dislikes

Management is generous and entrusted the jobs with confidence but some personnel earned handsome money for them

DC is like a military camp as far as desk editors are concerned. You will learn to work under extreme pressure.

Dislikes

All employees are treated like shit and exploited cruelly. Do not join this company unless you are starving.
