Excellent organisation, for learning and development and compensation.

Dislikes

Just avoid the ops team. Back ops team is not suitable and doesn't provide favourable conditions, else DBS is an excellent place to work.

Bank does not work as one unit. Salary increments are not great for ground level employees. Overall contribution is ignored by the managers who are concerned only of income to the branch.

This company need to focus in retail liability market. In India, 80 out of 100 people don't know that what is DBS Bank. Customers are least bothered whether it is Asia's safest bank or etc etc. they need service. The services are pathetic even personally do not prefer banking with them. Managers are not well supportive. The management will pressurise you to put your paper down and leave otherwise they will give you PIP. 20 accounts in a month, cross selling, funding, higher amount of FD is not a joke. Specially of you are an employee of this bank. Because most of the customers doesn't know about this bank. Customer acquisition is very very difficult. Overall my experience is horrible. Please don't join this company in sales channel.

Management does not addressing the eLVB IBA salary, compensation, bonus issues, not fair in dealing with employees benefits there is large partiality between eLVB IBA, CTC & DBS employees. There is no clarity in Job roles lot of works has been assigned to Branch Head which is not part of KRA. Each and everyone should support to the branch staffs / manager. Managers are suffering lot to retain the existing clients, there is no support from top officials, management has to hear from Lower level what are the issues have faced. Apart from branch, all verticals are working good because their job role has been assigned to particular job but all the vertical teams are putting pressure individually to the branch head alone. He is the only person to give business to all the verticals, but verticals / segment are not giving any business for branch achievement. All the support units and back office people are going team outing and relaxing their life. But branch employees are totally forgotten for this enjoyment / outing by the management .
