Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The culture emphasizes on creativity and innovation and as such is relatively laid back with very enthusiastic team mates.There are lots of opportunities for career growth as the management believes in letting employees constantly take-on new roles and opportunities as and when they come

Dislikes

In spite of the career growth opportunities within Datvest ,Zimbabwe as a country is no longer conducive for long term career development due to the political and economic crisis it is currently besieged with.
