Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...upport us. Very good organisation for Females. Colleagues are really supportive. The periodic pay hikes have been always on time. The leave policy is added advantage. The management team is very friendly, in particular, the 4 Managers in Chennai Office are friendly and easily approachable. The HR is a female who understands the problem of females.
