Sometimes they select Idiots to handle vital positions. For example they selected a GM Transport @ Dangote Zambia, who has a background of managing security in a hotel, and once these idiots joins Dangote they do all things to just hang on to the job so that their salaries keep flowing in. and why should a ex army personnel should be selected as they are already getting a hefty pension and other benefits.

Unfortunately once you are recruited, no one bothers about the efficiency of the employee.

The HR department is just too insensitive and has a devil may care approach. The expats suffer a lot and stick to the jobs only because of the salary benefits.

In Dangote plc no problem about job security if your work is good. Working culture is very good. Nigerian s are very good in Hard working, understanding and giving respect to the time and work. They just want right opportunity and right guidence. Management is very good. Management know the offshore employees problem's, their requirements and always ready to help. I work in Dangote PLC and only local Nigerian s was under me and each and all work they were doing nicely. And there's no single stoppage of kiln due to unavailability of my section. Eventhrough there's no one breakdown in my coal mill section.

...al manpower. And i have done it successfully. I am very satisfied on my work. But I was not satisfied with my salary.

I like the kind of équipements that we have in that plant so i use to learn a lot in electrical field .

Dislikes

The health and environement security is not respect at all . And we are working from monday to saturday but they don't want to pay our overtime . We don't have training in that équipements we are working only like that with our own knwoleges.

The company has good working environment that provide exposure for self leaner.Like Big and latest machines built with new technologies etc.I love the fact that I am part of a team that uses this opportunity to learn while providing reliable services to the machine and hence growing.But all this is based on local employee at Dangote Cement in Tanzania East Africa.

Low salary,bad politics,no training no good environment for innovation.
