Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

G.M of the company is a good person.

... find. There is no proper rules & regulations, every thing depends upon the M.D. No proper salary structure is maintained. M.D uses slang to its management staffs & workers. No systematic work culture is followed. At the time of hiring they will say that you will get paid leaves but if you take leave by submitting application also you will not be paid. My Work time was 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
