Salary gets credited on time.

Dislikes

6 days working with an average of 10 hours per day easily. There are also instances where Sundays are not off. The entire work culture runs on cascading down unachievable timelines to deliverables, crazy workload and shifting blame. The problems start from clients' unrealistic expectations which are poorly managed by the business leaders due to lack of any real leverage in terms of value or quality of senior resources, ultimately leading to shifting of burden and blame to middle and junior roles.

Too much process and documentation. No particular Job responsibilities for any particular role. Everyone has to do every type of work even that is not his or her job. I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
