Company culture and environment is good. Skill development and learning is good. Salary is above average. Can switch internally in any profile.

Dislikes

Work life balance is very poor, specially for control engineers in maintenance. Work load is high, and never ending. it is a 5days working company but not in reality, specially for any maintenance guy. Everything depends on your visibility, others' feedback......! not your skill.

Likes

Work culture is good. Good exposure to learn new technologies and problem solving skills. Broad areas ro learn. Will give you good options to learn and pursue higher studies as well if passionate enough.

Dislikes

Salary benefits needs improvement. The in hand we get is way less than what we see on paper. Lay offs happen here. Hikes are not upto what company performs.

We already has started getting email to stay at Home and work from Home! And Also deducted 20% Salary but good part is they have started given extra a day off to compensate it!

Cummins is More focused on Company Growth and least bothered about Employees as whenever Market gets Down they start crying stating, we are down and has to Reduce Employee for sustenance?

Likes

Cummins is very good company for Female candidates. About teammates personally i find all were very helpful and kind. I got a detailed training about every product that cummins manufacture or produce. Work environment is very positive and healthy. also work- life is quite good there was no restriction about work hours.

Dislikes

... did not like about Cummins is Job Security, i had terrible experience about it. Another point cummins provides very less package compare to other companies (especially if you are a fresher). Also personally i feel HR people are not good when it comes to people management.

There are many grate people in higher position. Overall management is perfect, but need manage compensation and salaries..

Dislikes

Salary. As contract onsite design engineer i got only 3 LPA package. and they expect that we have to work full day or as per work load by comprising our personal time.
