Cummins is a great place to work if you want to grow in your career and get good exposure. Also, it is a good place to work with great minds who are subject matter experts in their respective departments. It offers good benefits and a very healthy work life balance.

Dislikes

Things move pretty slow here in terms of approval and alignment. Also, the salary, promotion and appraisals are not upto the mark as per industry standards. You'll have to prove your worth multiple times and still you may miss out on promotional opportunities. A major issue that myself and my team have faced is with regards to team size and head count. The organization doesn't provide required headcount and most of the time the employees have to do heavy lifting.

Safety is priority, culture is awesome in office level jobs, knowledge growth is key focus if the person is interested in it. Most important and best drive of cummins is internal job change facility, it keeps people moving to their choice of departments to keep learning and growing in knowledge, career, financial perspective.

...nce is not good. Work life balance is hard to maintain due to 24/7 work culture. In hand salary is not good, lot of deductions and though still company doesn’t provide canteen, transport or any facilities.

Under dealer deputation, life is pretty tough. Salary is comparatively low for those who has joined since starting, better gained a lot of stays for decades.

Its great to work here and good to know all about the culture of the company. If you work hard and have a capability sure you have great future ahead.

Salary growth is little bit slow that's leads unsatisfactory to the employee. All over having a good facilities & team work.
