They have deducted 20% salary during covid times, there's no clear leave policy defined for covid. No reimbursement provided for internet etc., Also medical benefits are not upto mark. People even doesnt get appreciated from managers. No culture of thank you. People doesnt even get a appreciation certificate for projects recognised at higher management levels.

Company culture and environment is good. Skill development and learning is good. Salary is above average. Can switch internally in any profile.

Dislikes

Work life balance is very poor, specially for control engineers in maintenance. Work load is high, and never ending. it is a 5days working company but not in reality, specially for any maintenance guy. Everything depends on your visibility, others' feedback......! not your skill.

First company of my life, so I am very much satisfied about the interaction with the all quality leaders and the responsibilities given to me. It helps me to became more confident and one responsible person at such a small age.

I heard that from now company has stopped giving dresses to their employees and as well as over time salary which is little bit disappointing for employees.

Cummins is a great place to work if you want to grow in your career and get good exposure. Also, it is a good place to work with great minds who are subject matter experts in their respective departments. It offers good benefits and a very healthy work life balance.

Dislikes

Things move pretty slow here in terms of approval and alignment. Also, the salary, promotion and appraisals are not upto the mark as per industry standards. You'll have to prove your worth multiple times and still you may miss out on promotional opportunities. A major issue that myself and my team have faced is with regards to team size and head count. The organization doesn't provide required headcount and most of the time the employees have to do heavy lifting.
