Small room for career growth. Credit for achivements will be claim by Senior. Failures will be blame on others.Management need to think on its feet. 90 percentage planning 10 percentage execution.Long meetings with same stories month after month.Here start with a problem there will be a month of brain storming , long PPT ,Resources will be spend ,expert will be hire for solutions once solution arises there will be a frequent last minute change on whole blue print.Result start fresh . Good for me Yes I can engage my self on a new problem solving task as a manager.Problem for junior, good for expert they will earn money for new assignment.Local management need Reboot.I always experienced a lot of surprises, an efficient man was shown a back door and inefficiencies was awarded . retirement mindset can survive provided you can present Rossy picture and show that they are pushing their junior ,it's hardly matter whether actual rose was known from initial stage as a senior that it is wrong time to search for rose.Then why ?? I need to show to my division that I can get search rose in uncertain time because I dare to speak truth because my promotion depends on how I managed my reporting Boss. Boss is always right.Thank God for good experience.I am managing people , process and things in my present job all because of those experiences.I am all because of Vopak CRL terminal, I learnt alot at my personal capacities because people development are reserved for fortunate few, though India management always claim they are for people development , same can be proven though good PPT and photos.As worker I enjoyed lots of work because senior delegates all work but after job completion but
will take the credit without mentioning junior contribution.If he mentioned junior name and contributions there was danger as there are little room for growth.So it was better to eclipse the contribution of junior.Why to take the risk ? Good talent leave company due to no room for growth.
VOPAK India is different from Vopak Global.India management is autocratic not data driven.My senior take credit for my work. Employee lost job showing reason that poor business due to Covid but key management person were least concern for making change in their lavishness.

It is a 400 year old company - so stability and durability - definitely not flight by night operators
Largest company in its industry segment - leads the pack of third party independent bulk liquid storage provider by some distance.
HR Processes - are very sketchy and filled with loopholes, owing to which there is no guarantee that your performance through the year will reflect in the annual appraisals. The annual numbers are decided on the whims of country head and general manager.
Company Culture - has nose dived to chaos and politically motivated. So, if you have that special capability to appease the powers that are, you will make progress, otherwise irrespective of the work you do for company, you can and will be shunted.
Job security - None! People are fired at will, again irrespective of the skill set they carry or work they have done for the company.
