Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

This place is nothing but an extortion and exploitation of the resource. All they would like to do is squeeze every drop of blood from you and kill ur self esteem to control you. They say something and expect u do totally different.. If u question the management, the can't take it and it goes worse. Be wise and smart before joining this firm, if u want to feel sickened about ur self then join this firm.. Total waste of time and energy..

Dislikes

No working boundaries, disrespectful and illogical.. Zero work life balance, they make you work on Saturdays and nothing good to talk about in my 60 days journey..
