New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

...ty, great opportunity to meet different pepole and understand different culture. Salary is also ok.

When i join Costa cruises my salary was in euros which was very good and tips was also good but company changed salary structure euro to USD which was not issue but they pay us 1: 1 which is unfair, and above that they charge us onboard bill in euros and we need to pay according market rate applicable. Growth in the company is very slow and it not consider on seniority and capability. Food for crew is very good only on menu not when it is served. Few crew have special food for them which is unfair and there is no action taken against them hence few crew steal food which is quite sorrow.

All managers are having different style to work they are not following company' rule that why I don't like it

only good to enter the cruise industry

Dislikes

...on't even care if the Crew gets their breaks on time. They dont follow the laws. They make you work for long hours(13-14) and only pay you for 11 hours and amend the clock-in/clock-out timings.
