Cosmic Strands hire freelance editors and do not pay. The finance team never responds to the emails sent. The pay cycle is every two months. I never received payment for the work I did. DO NOT JOIN THIS COMPANY, PERIOD.

Dislikes

Work for 9:30 everyday. Hope you get parking. Delayed response from the HR. Break timings of 30 minutes everyday. No phone usage. Basically screw your social life.

The work (there's nothing else worth liking about the company).

The management (the CEO who never bothers to listen to the employees; the HR who acts more like a school principal shooting warning letters for petty reasons like asking for a toilet paper in the washroom; the manager who never stands by you), the salary (never credited on time, lowest end of the salary range for copy editors, appraisals don't happen on time), absolutely no incentives (none at all).

Simple culture in the office , learn with own interest, simple work environment, not great innovations, work-life balance not easy, average salary/appraisal, good team mates, overall good company to work without too much of torture.

Dislikes

May be the management putting so much pressure on you but still learn to survive in a difficult circumstances.
