Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Some time I work 15- 16 hours

It was my second company as abroad working first company, as i start my life from them to work and earning money and I grow their in my on knowledge as increased and they are all good management and growing company as I wish all the workers are work there they don’t want to leave and good culture.

Dislikes

The payment was not delivered some time 5 months delay
