I had worked with Cognizant till march 2020.I had resigned since I had to travel to my husbands place but due to the pandemic I coulnot go.Before resigning also I had approached to all leadership teams for a project opportunity at UK but I didn't get a response neither from the hr too. Can I get back my job since I couldnot travel.

...zant is my first company.I had learnt the testing methodologies from there only.A good company to start off but in the mid level the company is not suitable respective to package,opportunity as well as medical insurance.I felt the leadership team is biased and the hr department is not employee friendly.

Overall is very good. Having highly ethics, rules, regulations, discipline, facility, work culture, office environment etc.

Dislikes

First of all there is nothing to dislike. But especially it would have been better if HR/Management had considered or focused the issue of salary structure. I can remember that, when I had promoted from Associate to Sr. Associate then my salary was hike only Rupees - 71 (in words - seventy one rupees only). Job security was very low of that particular project which is a main and first essential matter of an employee and another thing is that, there having some politics/partiality, however it's depends on human mind or nature and particularly project specific. Apart from that everything was well and good.

First i was joined in a contract employee then i have been converted into a permenent Cts employee i really like cognizant policy,work culture, team effort,travel facility.

Dislikes

My thought main thing salary hike and other thing its little hard to balance my daily life due to shift timing

What I like most about cognizant is their toxic work culture and politics. To be honest, if there were jobs offers I wud have left cognizant, unfortunately my career is losing grip because of Emi's and rent pay. They just only pay you 20k for 4 years, no promotions, no awards, no recognition and no growth. And they ( Home Managers) fake all their policies and they humiliate people in front of all the teammates and colleagues, likewise in front of 40-50 group ppls if there is work done 80/100 % and if we ask about wholesome variables pay and incentives, they forced you to go to cognizant portal and give resignation. I have every screenshot of humiliation and disrespectful and cheating of my managers and other project heads

Dislikes everything and not satisfied. If they give 1L per month working salary, I won't work for them
