Cognizant is working on strengthening it's own associates by optimising learning scopes and internal evaluation for promotion

Dislikes

... document submission. They know only to reject without any proper justification. They think they are paying the salary from their pocket only

Except monthly salary, nothing to be present for liking

No growth, no upskill push from your manager, And if you upskill yourself alongwith your work from learning portal, no body will appreciate or use your skill in project. Management is least bothered about your older skills and upskilling and your career growth

I think work balance is quite good . Work culture is a bit mixed bag for me . Management is supportive to some extent . Job security is there and there are ample learning opportunities on offer .

Inadequate compensation / benefits .

Likes

All benefits are standard and all service companies give that. One good point is that you get more in hand salary as compared to other companies. No hidden components to CTC.

...n 2018. HR were asking employees to quit if you are on bench more than 2 months. Salary hike and promotions were minimal

Working at cognizant really helps me a lot both in personal and professional way .The work life balance & company culture was good and the allowances they provide apart from the salary was excellent...I really enjoyed my 3 years at Cognizant.

Dislikes

One thing I dislike about these companies are there is no guarantee of job security...they will pick 10/15 employees and moved them to different project within the company (internal movement)..which I think is a part of business but needs to be reviewed....
