Cognizant is very good MNC with offices over lots of cities in India with multiple campuses in cities like Pune, Chennai, Banglore, etc. Good policies, culture, work-life balance, job security are few of the many perks which we generally get in any typical MNC.

Dislikes

It's very difficult to get promotion and good salary hike even though you are the best in your job. Work related things are totally subjective to the type of project you get which is true for all companies, so can't comment there. Almost NO on-site opportunities.

Cognizant has strong capebilities in delivering technology services with a robust support. People are satisfied working here but since past couple of years company has not given ample opportunitiesto employees in terms of growth and compensastion

Not good approasal No timely appraisal No promotion policies No standard salary parameters as per exp No benchmarking for compensastion

If you swith to Cognizant, they will provide good salary compared to other service based company. They also push their associate for skill development with regular certification drive.

Dislikes

The appraisal system dropped drastically in couple of years. Very minimum salary hike with high ratings.

Ample of learning opportunities if you are willing to take it. Good work life balance in general. Good culture. Leadership if open to hearing employees issues and support them as possible.

...you will come across all IT companies. Just learn to survive, upskill and excel. Do not depend on your job or salary, have multiple streams of income without moonlighting and switch jobs whenever you get a good opportunity. Work for your own success not for the company.
