Virtual Interview with CMA CGM

I had a virtual interview with the CMA CGM Chennai team, where three panelists joined the call but kept their cameras off, while I was the only one on video. This lack of basic professionalism was unexpected. :| There was also a clear disconnect between the role I was informed about and the expectations of the interview panel. One of the interviewers was unreasonably aggressive, questioning me on topics unrelated to my expertise. When I asked for clarity on my expected day-to-day responsibilities, the panel was reluctant to provide details yet was keen on extracting information about my current role and the tools I use. An interview should be a two-way conversation, not just an information-gathering exercise. Experiences like these can impact an organization’s reputation, and CMA CGM should ensure its interview processes are structured, transparent, and professional. ...orkload by extending and working on weekends as well which led to health issues. Salary hike is also a major concern. Don't expect any major hike. This is for back office.

...with good process. As a KPO company they stands on a top 5 of shipping industry. Good employee benefits with night shift allowance, Sodexo, Yearly Bonus and Hikes.

The management is very bad. Especially with Cost Control team in GBSI. There are conflict between managers itself which affects the employee work-life balance. Improper training provided for new joiners (Include Experience resources or New Resource) An immatured managers who will always shout in floor. Very bad management who will check your teams messages and history using an tool. Praise in public and Hail in private policy is not followed here. Worst managers.

- Very orthodox thinking of management -useless people in HR -no much perks in company -salary offered is very less even when they have ability to pay more -stricr 9hr working policy, even a min less would cause half day. -no work from home for some dept.
