...was forced to resign because HR insisted I submit my resignation before leaving. They assured me my salary would be credited within 45 days. After resigning, they asked for my account details for salary processing, which I provided. Later, they asked me to rejoin, but I reminded them that they had denied me earlier and that the company didn’t have a rejoining policy. I also explained that I’d need time to rejoin as I’d have to arrange tickets. Then they sent a message saying they wouldn’t provide my salary. I emailed them regarding this, and they replied that I should have served a 30-day notice period before resignation. If this was the company's policy, why wasn’t I informed at the time? Why did they give me false assurances? I even included their escalation team in the email (CC), but I never received a response. This company is very unprofessional and fraudulent.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
