Nothing only pay is good but not so good.

They write in ambition box that they pay 12 Lpa 4 year exp this is totally false you can expect after 4 years around 8lpa thats it Max to max 9 .so this is the biggest trap.working hour is so bad like work in as a prison .

Likes

1. Startup culture and friendly environment. 2. Employees are very well paid. No other service based company at least in Kolkata will pay you as CloudKaptan does, not initially, but in the long run like 2-3 years. 3. One has to take ownership of complete project and communicate directly with clients immediately after 2-3 months of joining . Good for learning but might be a con for many due to immense work pressure. 4. Despite being a startup, job security is great. 5. Managers are very easy to approach. 6. Zero office politics.

Dislikes

1. Freshers are overburdened with work. 2. Working up to 9-10pm or even late on a daily basis is very normalized here. 3. All project requirements have very strict deadlines, therefore managing time for personal life becomes difficult due to long working hours. 4. Company recently introduced "Work from Anywhere" policy, which is not practically followed. It is only enjoyed by senior employees and only applies on specific projects. 5. Skillset will be restricted to Salesforce. No opportunity to explore other technologies. 6. Company is being run by a single family and a group of college friends at the management level who takes decision as per their wish. Lack of diversity. 7. Company only hires fresh graduates from Tier-3 and Tier-4 colleges. You will hardly find any industry expert here apart from the CEO himself. 8. All the projects are entirely dependent on a third party product/framework which is completely irrelevant in other IT companies. After few years switching from here would be a nightmare. Many are stuck here due to this very fact. 9. The company is miles away in terms of industry standard in aspects like: a. No dedicated HR person present. b. Unprofessionalism in terms of project and sprint management. Sometimes it feels like you are working on a college level project. c. The management pretends that the company is being run by a set of policies, but the reality is that at any time they can mold the policies to their benefit. 10. Work here involves 70% consultancy and 30% development. So if your interest lies in coding, this might not be the place for you. 11. You will also be engaged in weekends quite often, either due to some project work or taking interviews. No extra compensation provided for this.

Great place to learn and grow. They value for your work. If you perform good then company do not hesitate to pay you good.

It is a startup so the responsibility on individual is very high for which there gonna be some work pressure which hampers the work life balance.

Dislikes

...l always be in favour even if you don't perform well. They are very much biased. Salary increament was good before but now they provide increament based on rating system. If you are in favour of your manager you will always get a good rating. Rating is not based upon your performance.
