New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

...y, mr Deb and hr behaviour is very bad, Personal life attack for those people. Allso salary gave for hand to hand, not gave the PF and ESI facility. Very pathetic behaviour for ladies. Manager, TLs and Quality bad language use and gave the bad offer for girls.

There is nothing in here like promotion and the company norms are awful like sandwich policy and no leave but the working colleges are too Good here . If you want to relax and continue the job you are welcome but if you want to go and see for a promotion then pls leave the idea

I actually hate everything of that company but the most worst thing they did was fired employees while in lock down period without any reason , whereas they knew it that it was like impossible to get a new job on that time
