Nothing is positive over there.

Dislikes

They just keep giving false promises. Even they don't give you a offer letter. And when you'll come to ask them about salary, policies, incentive slabs they just say we'll let know and they don't let you nothing. And one thing they don't give you a single penny of your incentive.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
