This is the only place in my 20 years career I realized i am more intelligent and mature and capable of the SVPs who work with me, SVPS directors most of them have zero knowledge about capital markets, Have no skills to manage large and big projects they have ruined the work culture completely.

Citi pays your salary well and give benefits.

Dislikes

when you try to use the benefits your life will be hell. They typically works like a government company. HR clearly says its not a corporate company to value the employee. Its a bank and it works like a bank so employees should adopt to it. They don't value the employee. Lot of internal politics. You don't get promotions or good hikes. It's a company running in a community based. They didn't develop yet. They are 20years behind the development. To enter into the CITI for your profile to get shortlisted itself has lot of politics.

Likes

Job security is good in Citi. Yearly bonus apart from the CTC Health checkup claim worth 6500 rupees per year. Access to Degreed learning platform. Free company transportation & health insurance.

Dislikes

No work life balance. Has to support on weekend's during implementation that too on EST timings without any comp off or shift allowance. Very bad hikes. 3 months notice period No onsite opportunities Company laptop is not provided. You have to work with your personal laptop during WFH.

Likes

Good opportunities to grow if you are enterprising. You need to work around and find opportunities instead of getting handed over in a platter.

Dislikes

Low bonus. Bonus is below par when it comes to industry standard.

Likes

Good pay for that kind of work. Great work life balance in some teams.

Dislikes

Mundane job, not much scope for learning new stuff as most of the work involves maintaining the systems with ancient tech stacks.
