Pay is average, other than that from culture to work to tech everything has gone way bad.

from last 2 year there is lots of politics overall citi uses very old tech. If you wanna bring anything new there are lots of obstacles and politics. Promotion halted, layoff happening. We have senior developers who can't open vim or work with basic python. So overall everything from work to culture to tech to the job satisfaction is going downhill very fast. As soon as market opens, attrition rate would be really high and the good employers would be first to leave.

Work life balance only in some projects like us...other projects where my friends are working has worst work life balance and toxic work culture.

Dislikes

...ratings and new employees one level below than old employees have high salaries. So better approach would be to take good package and leave in couple of years.

...ar BAU and some times Adhoc request like download data from perticular database. No promotions, poor salary hikes.

Exposure is great. You’ll work with global stakeholders and teams across London, New york, San Francisco etc on a daily BAU basis. Learning in unlimited.

Dislikes

Work life balance, amount of work doesn’t align with the pay. Average 12-14 working hours in a day which at times may go up to 16-17 hours during critical activities. Working these many hours is still okay if the pay is competitive. The members who are putting in so much effort sacrificing their family time should be compensated fairly for it.
