work life balance and Job Security are the only good things in CSIPL Mumbai.

I'm part of FRSS-System Operations in CSIPL. All other departments in CSIPL gets good bonus and hikes compared to FRSS, when we raise this to my manager and Sys Ops lead, they said since FRSS is part of non revenue generating segment, we don't have any bonus and get less hikes based on the budget allocation. I would suggest you not to join to FRSS until your situation is worse. Though you join FRSS, don't come to System Operations because people from other segments look at Sys Ops as event managers. Managers here doesn't bother about your BAU activities rather they give priority to Bol bacchans(who speaks a lot but doing nothing). If you say that you have done a great job in your BAU, they say you don't have any visibility and if you need visibility don't work with your manager, rather just go and talk to sys ops lead continuously for an year and you will surely get a promotion. Coming to parties, company won't fund you a single penny, it's completely TTMM.

Long hours coupled with an atmosphere of distrust especially with seniors. Also compensation is low for the demands placed on the employees especially the analysts and senior analysts. The company culture is terrible with a lot of non transparent discussion. What is said and what is done is hugely different...

Positives are the Ramanujan IT sez itself with lots of greenery with world class garden and buildings - There used to be lot of Table tennis players which I have learnt and become good at TT after office hours (2015-16 period) but it sort of reduced after COB initiative as many members where shifted to other cities - Exposure to international clients and banking systems

...t recently I heard that they are giving promotions to other communities as well. But only the salary and levels are given not the entire team management role. It is very demotivating to know even after years of hard work you are not given promotions and good appraisals. I guess world is not fair I found out the hard way. - No regard for your health, due to my demanding investment role, handling huge sums i used to have lunch someday at 2.30, someday @ 1.30, sometimes at 3.30 or 4.30 in the evening, this is due to different cutoff time. And working 11 to 15 hours depending upon the volume and there is commute for another 2 hours per day. I literally felt like living in office!! After all the hard work living as bachelor getting proper food @ 11 and 12 in night was hard. I usually show all the frustration by having large amount of food at late night. Due to this unhealthy life style and work culture I had developed a health condition called GERD/reflux where your splinter muscles loosens and tend to vomit a lot. Got 3 endoscopy done first was in 2019 last was this year 2024. I couldn't go to a job due to this condition. - Every job is demanding so do your job but it is not your life. Take good care of yourself by having small breaks and have some fruits in between. Stay away from smoking and drinking. You got your family to take care even after your 40 but there is always someone to replace you at your company
