The company has Job security and many new new things to learn. HR and People are very supportive and understanding. Management prefer work life balance.

Dislikes

The company lack in implementing some excitement while working like fun Friday, some employee engagement events, some sports activities or any one day picnics or any outside conferences. Coming to office doing work and go back to office will not keep employee motivate for long time especially new generations employees.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
