Growth is very limited, peer politics, poor environment to grow, Even head officials like HOD and Dean tend to create groups and play politics. Focus on result is much emphasized at the cost of ethics(like correcting their own subject papers in valuation to get good result, Providing better grades to favorite student irrespective of his performance in labs and project), its sad to say that lecturers(so called professors) tend to see students as a product and their parents as customers. The management will tend to loot money from students in the name of common breakage, Cetafest amount, etc.

Likes

The best part of the Christ is that it has a brand name. People know about the college and that, in a way, helps you to be known by all. Christ follows complete corporare-like culture. This helps you to get used to the real world scenarios. The campus is really good.

Dislikes

The worst part about the college is, its placement. Please do not expect to be placed inside the campus, of course unless you are the topper in all the semesters. Very least companies come for placements, hardly 2 or 3. That too the college itself won't allow you to sit for the preplacement talk if you are not a topper (atleast 85% in all the semesters, 1st to the last). Secondly, the strictness is too much. You will not get any feel that you are in a college. You will be given pointless discipline and life lessons by all the "Fathers". Trust me, you will feel like you are in a school, where you are expected and told to behave the way they want you to , every now and then. Third, please do not opt for hostel guys unless you want to be treated as prisonerd. Some of the rules of hostel are: 1) You can not switch on the lights of your room post 10. If you do, the security will come and forcefully will ask you to switch off the light. 2) You can not, under any circumstances, can bring any eatables. I once again say, any eatables. 3) You can't celebrate birthdays or for that sake any festival as well. 4) You can not change the position of the things that were there when you first came to your room, no matter if you couldn't sleep. 5) You are supposed to be inside the campus on or before 9PM, if not then you will not be permitted in and your parents will be informed. 6) You need to make call to your parents to take any leave from your hostel, even for 1 hour. Then the warden will approve your leave. There are many more rules which make no sense at all but then that's Christ University for you. Fourth, there is a bit of partiality in terms of giving marks. The South Indian students are generally given better marks in internals than the rest of India. Many more issues are there but I see the review has become quite big now. In a nutshell, Christ just gives you the brand name . Nothing else.
