I love the management and have a great work and life balance. Work culture is very good. Lot of trainings happen for the upskill related to life, health, technology etc. Great place to work along with job security.

Compensation should be more good.

Only only plus point-if you join CGI with some experience (not as fresher) then you will get best package and best project(but make sure you get dedicated client project only) mark my words you will feel regret if you get multiclient projects.

Terrible projects, no scope for growth, always care about client they dont even think about employees, most worst part "hikes" when year end comes they shuffle the resources here and there and say we have to see performace will help with better hike in coming year and that is not gonna happen foe ever

The management is only after new clients and not interested in skill development or providing proper compensation to employees

Dislikes

Not much skill development initiatives. No proper compensation & benefits. No free transport - charge heavily for transport. cafeteria food is worst. no team outings/team lunch. third party Health insurance coverage is unsatisfactory. No flexibility to work from home.

Depends upon project and business unit. For me , here in DataCycle360 and Wealth360, work is excellent means, you will get more and more work if you are able to do quickly so, learning opportunity is excellent, technologies is also decent as per industry, but if i think independently and don't compare with other company then carriers growth (salary) in terms of appraisal is not good.

Appraisal, salary growth within CGI, Hybrid mode of working, WFO, In terms of quality and quantities work delivered - More work is there based on current 9LPA CTC of promoted SSE atleast for me, by comparing with external hired SSE which takes 19LPA. So, Switching to other company is good rather than getting Promoted within CGI.

Definately a great place to work if you are less ambitious about financial growth. Almost zero micro management. Perfect place for experienced people to get settled or for longer run.

Dislikes

Not at all recommended for freshers. Very less salary hike and confusing apraisal cycle. Unnecessary hierarchy and complex organisation structure. Full off useless managers only drawing huge amount of salary just by talking in calls 2-3 hours everyday. IJP & internal trainings are all showoff. No use at all.
