...rview, they haven’t told me beforehand that position is on third party contract. I cleared the interview & after that during salary negotiation, HR told me that this position is on third party contract..I literally got shocked..after that I asked for 30% hike..so HR told me that they cannot give it right now as I’m from diff background..(my experience was not in manufacturing, as I’m having procurement experience in EPC projects)..so they will test me for 6 months & after that if I’m good they will give me 30% hike as well permanent position as they are looking for permanent position only. After all these, I joined the company because I need to shift to Bhopal due to my family issues, & CG is also a good name in market. I completed my 5 months there & asked for the review to HR for permanent position & salary hike. So, review happens with my direct boss, HR & me. So, my boss pointed out 2 points on me discipline issue & behaviour issue. As my work was way above their expectations as being from different background, I handled the work smoothly & get the things going without any major delays. So for discipline issue, I never took any leaves without prior information, never came late to office, don’t had too many leaves during my tenure, always picked up the phone during office hours..but once I opposed my boss on late night calls as he used to call after 10 PM, sometimes at 11 PM as well. For behaviour issue they told me i used to talk aggressively, but I’m from rural Haryana & we have a natural high tone over there, so my voice was little heavier than others. I requested HR if there’s these to personality issues, you should ask other departments as well with whom I was working, like production, quality, stores, accounts, design..take review from every department if majority tells the same thing, I have no issues to accept these charges. In fact I have very good terms with the people & everybody is friendly & comfortable with me (male & females) nobody faced any issues. After all that happened, I told that I will resign or if there’s discipline issue you fire me..instead of firing my boss tried to retain me by telling you’re good staff, I don’t know why HR is doing this with you..they don’t care for hardworking & employees with potential..management never every think about the problems I was facing..Infact I complained to our department head as well..despite all this my boss & HR were ready to retain me by giving 10% increment..(which basically the annual appraisal & not the 30% hike which they supposed to give me when I switched..& I think everybody deserves that..)..I felt deceived & depressed..overthinking this everyday..I agreed at the time of joining, because of my family only..that’s the only motivation for me..& considering CG is a brand & they will not indulge in all kind of things..for the 8 months I worked there is completely mental torture for me..I request everybody who is reading my review please negotiate your terms well before joining..& don’t go on third party payroll it’s completely torture..especially in traction division..
