Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Company has a very poor management. They treat employees badly. Seniors over power juniors & mis-behave with them. Seniors abuse juniors and dominate them. Seniors use juniors for their personal work & treat them like drivers.

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and had a global client base.

Dislikes

There is no on job training for freshers,hence senior folks like me have to guide them step by step, which is a pain sometimes.
